I work with trauma because I get how deeply it can shape a person’s life, how early relational wounds can echo into adulthood in ways that feel impossible to shift.
But they can shift.
I’m a fellow trauma survivor, live with an autoimmune disorder, grew up an only child. I'm a newly minted member of the bereaved community (ask me about my Dad any time), animal rescuer and your friendly neighborhood Canadian!
I combine warmth and depth with genuine authenticity and care, to offer you a truly healing, relational, and collaborative therapeutic experience.
None of this is about perfection.
It’s about learning how to understand your history in a way that lets you feel free and like yourself fully,
perhaps for the first time.
Sometimes my dog helps too...

I had just moved to LA so I was nervous to start therapy again with someone new because I didn’t want to go through everything all over again. Jessie never pushed me.
She is very kind and the weekly sessions give me a way to understand myself and make sense of what's happened in my life. Jessie's just the best!

It’s collaborative and rooted in nervous system regulation.
You don’t need a specific label or diagnosis for your pain to matter. Trauma is anything that feels 'stuck' in your system. It is any event that overwhelms you and leaves a lasting negative impact on you and your life.
This can be anything from a negative interaction with a co-worker that left you feeling embarrassed, to a sudden breakup where you were blindsided, to more intense traumatic experiences such as sexual abuse, assault or domestic violence.
There is no hierarchy of pain. If it's traumatic to you, that's enough.
Yes. In fact, that’s exactly why many of my clients seek out this type of IFS, and somatic work, because understanding doesn’t always lead to actual change. If you’ve done the talking and still feel caught in the same emotional loops, this kind of deeper insight work is ideal.
