Trauma isn’t just your history. It lives in your body, in your reactions, in what gets stuck.
EMDR helps your brain and your system finish processing it, not live it anymore.
When we pair EMDR with somatic tools, we’re not just healing what happened.
We’re clearing the residue it left behind.
Because true healing means the body can finally release and the mind can understand it’s safe now.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a researched, somatically aware therapy that helps your brain finish processing unresolved trauma.
Through bilateral stimulation, like tapping, tones, or eye movements, it supports your nervous system in releasing the past.
It’s not about erasing what happened. It’s about redefining how your system carries it.

We talk through what’s staying stuck, what’s harming your system, and where you want to be.

I'm Jessie (she/her/hers), an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
I use EMDR because I’ve seen firsthand how it helps people move beyond trauma in ways that talking alone can’t.
Trauma doesn’t just live in memories, it shows up in the body, in your nervous system, and in the way you relate to yourself and others.
EMDR gives us a way to process what’s stuck so it no longer hijacks your life.
My approach is steady, relational, and paced to your nervous system. We go deep, but we don’t rush. Safety always comes first.
Doing EMDR with me, you will have an experienced practitioner who is engaged, supportive, and deeply in your corner.
I bring lightness when it helps, compassion when it’s needed, and clear structure so you always know where we’re headed.
EMDR is powerful, and with the right therapist, it can give you the freedom to finally feel safe, calm, and more connected to yourself.

I can actually sleep through the night now and I'm not nearly as triggered. To say that Jessie's EMDR has changed my whole life would be an understatement.

Yes. Telehealth has been scientifically proven to be just as clinically effective as in-person therapy, especially for trauma work like EMDR and IFS.
Many clients find virtual sessions more comfortable and accessible, no commute, no office anxiety, just a calm space to focus on your healing.
No, I take an integrative approach to therapy, which means we’ll likely blend EMDR with other methods like IFS and somatics (unless you prefer to focus solely on EMDR). This allows the work to stay flexible, responsive, and attuned to what you need.
Therapy shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all approach, and I love tailoring our work together to you. If you have preferences, feel free to share them during the free 30-minute consultation.
You don’t have to know that yet, that’s what the consult is for. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or hurt and need a space for yourself, individual therapy may be a good starting point.
If you’re struggling in your relationship and want to work on repair with your partner, we can talk about whether couples therapy makes sense. And if you’re feeling continually triggered by past traumas, fears and phobias and want to go deeper, we can explore if EMDR is the right fit.
Whichever path we take, we’ll figure it out together.
