Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy offers a gentle, powerful way to understand and heal the parts of you that drive burnout. Instead of fighting your perfectionist, caretaker, or overachiever parts, we get curious about them.
We discover what they protect you from, and what they need now. Our sessions are collaborative and paced to your system’s readiness.
People-pleasing and overachievement aren’t random habits, they’re protective patterns.
Often, this messaging begins early when love, safety, or belonging felt tied to how much you could give, fix, or achieve.
These beliefs become automatic responses that run the show, even when you know they’re unsustainable.
The nervous system learns to equate calm with danger, so rest feels foreign
maybe even, unsafe.

I work with people who are outwardly capable but quietly exhausted, the ones who keep it all together for everyone else and are starting to wonder what it would feel like to finally include themselves.
I know how early relational wounds can echo into adulthood, shaping the way we care, strive, and connect. Early attachment and messaging lives in the body as pressure, perfectionism, or self-doubt, but these dynamics can shift.
I’m a recovering people-pleaser, eldest daughter turned animal rescuer, and a newly minted member of the bereaved community (ask me about my dad anytime). These experiences taught me that healing isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about learning to lead your inner world with compassion and clarity.
In therapy, I combine warmth, depth, and genuine collaboration. My approach is grounded in IFS and relational healing, helping you build a relationship with every part of yourself, especially the ones that overfunction, rescue, or run on empty.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about coming home to yourself — steady, whole, and fully human.

I didn’t realize how much of my life was built on keeping everyone else comfortable. Working with Jessie helped me slow down, listen to myself, and stop apologizing for needing space.

Burnout often hides behind competence. You may still be showing up, getting things done, and keeping your life together... but inside, you feel detached, irritable, or bone-tired no matter how much you rest.
Stress says, “This is a lot right now.”
Burnout says, “I can’t keep living like this.”
IFS therapy helps you identify the parts of you that keep pushing and performing, and teaches your nervous system how to rest without guilt, so calm becomes sustainable, not temporary.
Many of my clients don’t “look” like they’re struggling. They’re successful, insightful, and used to managing things on their own. But high functioning can often be a sign of over-functioning, driven by parts that equate 'doing' with 'worth'.
Therapy isn’t about falling apart. It’s about learning to lead your life from balance instead of burnout.
In IFS, we explore the parts that drive your overworking or people-pleasing, and help them trust that it’s safe to slow down.
